Leadership WA welcomes the June 2026 Rising Leadership Program cohort. Meet the participants, celebrate this intake's scholarship recipients and discover the leaders shaping communities across WA.

It has been a big few months at Leadership WA HQ. Alongside our Programs and events across Western Australia, we have welcomed new team members and settled into our new Perth CBD office.

We warmly congratulate the April 2026 LeadAbility Graduates, who celebrated the completion of their three-month Course on Friday 26 June 2026.

Last week, our 2026 Signature Leadership Program cohort travelled across regional Western Australia for their Southern Field Trip.

We are delighted to share that our LeadAbility Course has received continued annual funding through to 2029, supporting the ongoing delivery of the Course and LeadAbility Scholarships.

Huge congratulations to our September 2025 LeadAbility Graduates as we welcome them into the LeadAbility Community of Practice following their Graduation on 10 December.

We are delighted to welcome our June 2025 Rising Leadership Program cohort into the Leadership WA Alumni Community, following their graduation on Thursday 4 December.

Our 2025 Signature Leadership Program cohort celebrated their graduation on Friday, 21 November, in the impressive surrounds of the Government House Ballroom. The finale of a transformative 10-month leadership development journey.

Today, the Honourable Hannah Beazley MLA, Minister for Disability Services, announced that the Department of Communities funding for Leadership WA’s LeadAbility Course will continue into 2026.

Celebrations and congratulations were the order of the evening, as our 2025 March Rising cohort graduated from the six-month Rising Leadership Program on Friday 5 September 2025.

The Leadership WA Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Candy Choo as the next Chief Executive Officer of Leadership WA. A dynamic and purpose-led leader, Candy has over 15 years of executive leadership experience across the government, not-for-profit and private sectors.

These 30 passionate, experienced and dedicated Western Australian leaders represent a diverse range of sectors, industries and professions - but they all have one thing in common: their dedication to making a difference and creating positive impact with their leadership

Congratulations to our newest LeadAbility Graduates.

For 20 years, we have brought our State’s top leaders, decision-makers and influencers to regional WA, to experience first-hand the reality of living and working in the regions.

We're excited to share that Leadership WA has been successful in our application for a $420,000 Lotterywest grant, funding 18 Scholarships that will enable not-for-profit leaders to participate in both the Signature and Rising Leadership Programs.
