LeadAbility Course

LeadAbility is an entry level leadership Course for those who want to lead and create change within the space. If you are a person with disability, care for or are family of those with disability and/or are working in a role that intersects with the sector, LeadAbility will provide you with foundations to grow as a leader.

Designed in liaison with sector leaders, the LeadAbility Course includes an awareness of the often-unique needs and nuances of leading within the sector. It is delivered face-to-face with a focus leadership fundamentals, effective communication, teamwork and community.

Taking place over seven days, across 3-months, LeadAbility is experiential leadership development that will grow your skills, knowledge and ability to become a more influential, confident and effective leader. Experience Days include a range of interactive content, expert speakers, dynamic activities and Community Projects.

Thanks to the enduring support and funding of the Department of Communities WA, there is no cost to participate.  It is accessible, with assistance available for vision or hearing-impaired participants and/or other support as required. Carers and support animals are always welcome.

• Develop the ability to work within teams
• Understand co-design and how to implement change
• Identify areas for change to achieve full citizenship
