Date: 24/11/2023

On Friday 24 November, the 2023 Signature Leadership Program cohort graduated at the prestigious Government House WA.

Proceedings began with a Welcome to Country kindly delivered by Trevor Stack.

His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, the Governor of Western Australia and Patron of Leadership WA, shared his thoughts on the value of the Program, encouraged the cohort to be proud of their achievements and spoke about the importance of information when leaders need to make tough decisions.

Throughout the 10 month Program, we have witnessed these 36 exceptional leaders embrace vulnerability and form enduring bonds, whilst commiting themselves to exploring their 'why' in leadership. Our remarkable cohort worked within an environment of trust that enabled a range of unique experiences that introduced new perspectives and broadened their mindsets.

Julie Freeman, Director & Business Manager at Redbrae Farms, was appointed as the 2023 cohort Valedictorian. During her speech, Julie praised the uniqueness of the cohort, the insights gained by the 'Wisdom in Leadership' presentations, and the impact of speakers and the diversity of locations visited on Experience Days.

Many congratulations to our 2023 Signature cohort. All of you embody Leadership WA's mission, by developing your leadership for the benefit of your organisations, and our community. We look forward to watching your leadership journeys progress as you continue to make meaningful change.
