ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Leadership WA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We wholeheartedly recognise the enduring physical and spiritual connection of Aboriginal people to this country, the land and sea. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal communities, and to their Elders past, present and emerging.
Programs
Our Leadership Programs embrace reflective learning. This approach encourages participants to examine their personal experiences, cohort and the many highly influential external speakers who contribute throughout the Programs. It also challenges participants to question and critically assess their deeply-held assumptions and how they relate to the wider world.
Alumni
Leadership WA Alumni are a strong and influential network of today’s and tomorrow’s leaders, making real and meaningful difference in the community. Our Alumni have the capacity to set the standard in addressing social challenges.
OUR SOCIAL IMPACT
We are the catalyst for change. We transform leaders into influencers who inspire and motivate others to achieve great things. Our immersive programs instil courage, skills and tenacity in our participants, giving them the powerful potential to lead transformational social change.

2025 Rising Leadership Program - Opening Comparison Survey This Pre-Program Questionnaire is part of our onboarding process and is designed for Leadership WA to gain a better understanding of your learning goals, intentions and preferences before commencing the Program. The three sections of the questionnaire asks for information on program learning, study book preference and project preference. Please allow 15-20 minutes to complete the questionnaire
Section 1: Self-Evaluation As we embark on the Rising Leadership Program, we would like you to take some time to pre-reflect on your position before commencing the Program. Give yourself a rating between 1-10 on your confidence in the following areas of leadership:
Section 2: Values Values are important for authenticity and as a compass for taking effective action. We would like to know your top 3 values.
Section 3: Ink and Insights Book Group Developing a reading habit can help leaders improve their confidence, knowledge, reasoning, emotional intelligence, creativity, innovation, and communication skills. In the spirit of empowering courageous leaders, the Program includes a book for you to learn, study and grow. You will receive your selected book at Experience 2, supplied by Leadership WA.
Section 4: Community Project During the Program, you will be contributing to a team project which will be aiming to positively impact a section of the WA community who have a lived experience of one of three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This section aims to understand your personal connection to these goals. We take this into account when curating the project teams.
Step 1 of 2
2025 Signature Leadership Program - Opening Comparison Survey The paper “Leadership at Work: do Australian leaders have what it takes?” released in 2017/2018 identified several important areas of skills and knowledge that future leaders need “…if Australia is to maintain national competitiveness and generate growth and jobs…and navigate through a phase of increased uncertainty and ambiguity, disruption and change”. Prior to attending your Opening Retreat, we invite you to evaluate yourself against the five main areas identified in the report. Throughout the year, you will be able to re-visit this self-evaluation to see how you have grown during the Program.
Below is a definition of the five skills and knowledge identified and under each is a scale of 1 – 20, where 1 is “I am not good at this” and 20 is “I excel at this and am the best ever”.
As we embark on Signature Leadership Program 2025, we would like you to take some time to pre-reflect about the Program and the coming Experiences.
