At Leadership WA we recognise everyone may not have the financial means to participate in our Programs and Courses. We offer a range of scholarships through the Leadership WA Foundation, and in partnership with external organisations. For a list of our current scholarships, see below.
Leadership WA Foundation Scholarship
Leadership WA have a limited number of scholarships available for not-for-profits (or suitable small businesses or sole traders) wishing to participate in our Programs and Courses. These scholarships cover the Organisation Fee only. The Personal Fee and any travel and accommodation would be the responsibility of the participant. If you would like to apply for one, you can elect to do so in your application.
Regional Aboriginal Leadership Development Scholarship
The Regional Aboriginal Leadership Development Scholarships are aimed at creating positive outcomes for regional Aboriginal communities by supporting participants onto Leadership WA’s Rising and Signature Leadership Programs.
These scholarships will enable participants to develop stronger leadership skills and capabilities to reinvest back into their local communities. Click here for more information. Lotterywest is a major supporter of this scholarship.
GGA CBH Growing Leaders Scholarship Program
The GGA CBH Growing Leaders Scholarship Program has been designed to offer members of the Western Australian grain growing industry access to leadership development with Leadership WA.
The program provides two scholarships annually for the Signature Leadership Program.
With a commitment to developing leadership for social impact and championing courageous leadership, Leadership WA believes this scholarship initiative presents a valuable opportunity to ensure the complexity of agricultural perspectives and challenges are explored and shared with the leaders of today and tomorrow.
Wheatbelt Development Commission Aboriginal Leadership Scholarships
The Wheatbelt Development Commission is proudly supporting three scholarships onto the Rising Leadership Program in 2022. The scholarships are designed for emerging Aboriginal leaders in the Wheatbelt region, to build leadership capability and continue to strengthen the long-term outcomes of the region.
The Commission strongly believes in enabling emerging leaders to positively contribute to, and reinvest in, the community. For more information, click here.
Mt Burdett Foundation Scholarships
Together with the Leadership WA Foundation, the Mt Burdett Rural and Regional Advancement Foundation is offering two Rising Leadership Program scholarships to emerging leaders living in regional Western Australia who are early-mid level in their career, passionate about creating a positive impact, and been to build leadership skills and put them into practice for the community.
The Foundation’s vision is that by investing strategically in new initiatives and people, we create a vibrant, resilient community to ensure a healthy future for the Esperance region and rural and regional Western Australia. For more information, click here.
Leadership WA have a limited number of scholarships available for people with lived experience of disability, or those who work in the sector, wishing to participate in our Programs and Courses. If you would like to apply for one, you can select to do so in your application form.
These scholarships are generously supported by the Department of Communities (Disability Services), who share our vision to build strong and inclusive communities.
