The Leadership WA Signature Leadership Program has exposed me to a wide range of individuals, organisations and experiences which have broadened my knowledge of both the challenges and the opportunities which face Western Australia.

This has been a wonderful opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone and expand my knowledge base which will ultimately help me to contribute to my region with a better understanding of the ‘big picture'.

This is one of the most memorable and impactful professional development experiences on offer anywhere in Western Australia. 

This carefully curated Program will challenge you and help you to explore meaningful ways of deepening your leadership impact. Importantly, it will also give you the opportunity to connect with some of the State’s most outstanding leaders, understand more about the key drivers and challenges of the State, and develop a new network of colleagues and friends along the way. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.

The Signature Leadership Program was an amazing experience. It provided access to some of the amazing leaders of industry, Government, and social impact organisations in Western Australia, and gave me the opportunity to connect with 36 other leaders who I now call close friends. The Program exposes you to topics that expand your mind, challenge you but also allows you to challenge in return. I have found my confidence and “why” as a leader, and how I can use this responsibility to mentor and advocate for a positive future for Western Australia. 

I highly recommend this Program to anyone that wants to continue their learnings of leadership and to challenge themselves to be a more courageous leader.

To be an authentic, trusted and effective leader, you must first "know thyself", in particular what you bring and why you lead. Leadership WA curates and cultivates a unique space with the right connectivity to safely explore this against the backdrop of the big topics impacting our great state. I have enjoyed every single moment of the 2022 Signature Program which has had a profound personal impact beyond my expectations. I also feel professionally enlightened, informed and supported on my leadership journey. 

The Signature Leadership Program has been a defining milestone in my career and a worthy investment of my time. It seamlessly integrated insightful and candid leadership experiences into self-reflection and growth. I have come away with a better understanding of my unique strengths as a leader and where I can apply these to make a meaningful difference. This has come alongside the privilege of new friendships, fun travel experiences and deep discussions that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend it highly.

The Signature Leadership Program to be the most unique and inspiring Program I have been fortunate enough to be a apart of in my 20 years career in the public sector. The focus on self and the exploration of issues affecting the state in which we live was such an amazing and unforgettable experience.

I now feel inspired to take the learnings and networks from the Program and apply my commitment, passion, empathy, energy and integrity to help tackle the tough challenges affecting WA.

I have learned so much about myself through this Program, from strengths, emotional triggers to my true authenticity as a person and a leader…especially with the birth of my first child. 

The Program experiences and the learnings from the my cohort inspired me to take the leap and move outside my comfort zone to better fulfil “Why Statement”.

The Signature Program provides a unique and invaluable opportunity to come together with a diverse group of leaders and broaden your perspective on the challenges we face as a state. The time dedicated to the program is an incredibly worthwhile investment in your own development, that will help you grow as a leader and be at your most effective to contribute in a meaningful way to our society. I have come away from the program understanding both myself and others in greater depth and having more clarity around what I personally have to offer the wider community. The learnings from the program will extend well beyond the completion of the formal experiences, as will the ongoing support resulting from the connections and close relationships that are developed through the program. I feel very grateful for the privilege of being in a leadership position and the opportunity to participate in the LWA program so that my contributions can have a more powerful influence in shaping a positive future for Western Australia.

The Leadership WA Signature Program has provided me with the opportunity to form invaluable relationships; meet, hear and discuss multiple topics and key issues surrounding our communities, economy and systems of WA with leaders from all walks of life; while also providing an exclusive insight into their leadership journey and styles of inspiring leaders. This has supported me in finding my best self as a Leader that allows me to lead my team, influence change, challenge systems and processes, and give myself-permission to fail while taking calculated risks to be innovative and provide a space for continued improvement and most importantly time for reflection. This opportunity has given me great belief in my ability and I have no doubt this experience has given me great tools and knowledge to continue along on my leadership journey and assist others along theirs.

The Signature Program was an amazing melting pot of people and ideas that still influences my way of working today.

The Signature Leadership Program is probably the best program I’ve ever done. It’s an opportunity to really both question your own views of things, and be challenged with new ideas and new thoughts. There was a great energy. I built some really strong relationships with my cohort.

Underpinning the value of program was the access to so many prominent leaders from a wide variety of industries. The honesty in the discussion prompted us to challenge our own values and beliefs about what ethical leadership means to each of us.

The Leadership WA Signature program helped me re-examine my beliefs about leadership, exposed me to real issues across Western Australia and facilitated connections that continue to broaden and deepen my network of leaders who truly care about this state and its people.

Participating in the Leadership WA Signature Program was a transforming experience. There was a great amount of personal learning in terms of understanding myself and learning to be more authentic and vulnerable. I would highly recommend this program and encourage companies and organisation to invest in their leaders and allow them to participate in this transformative experience. We all have a leadership role to play in shaping the current and future direction of our amazing state, Western Australia.

Every other course I’ve been on has an alumni network, but it just doesn’t compare to the Leadership WA Alumni.

The exemplary leadership shown by those within Leadership WA, as well as the strong relationships I developed with my buddy and cohort, boosted my confidence and enthusiasm. The skills taught within the Program, and the knowledge shared by the variety of guest speakers, gave me a renewed sense of purpose. I finished the Program feeling re-energised and equipped with new strategies and connections to take me into the next part of my leadership journey. 

Witnessing the growth of my cohort over the six months, I know that the future of leadership in WA is diverse, it is authentic, and it is bright.

The Rising Leadership Program makes you dig deep and really look at your values, your passion and what drives you to be your best. The coursework was engaging and interactive with an excellent range of guest speakers who openly shared their leadership stories and challenges. It has given me practical tools to implement and has grown my confidence as a leader. The connections I made with fellow participants remain strong and I now have a great network of peers. This Program is an excellent reminder of how important it is to take the time to invest in your own learning and growth. 

The Rising program was fantastic, it provided me with the space and mental clarity to go on a 6 month journey of self-discovery. During this time I was able to reflect on my leadership journey so far, the type of leader I aspire to be and then implement learnings in real-time.

The support network of our cohort was invaluable, we created a safe space to share, challenge and grow together which created bonds that endure well after our graduation. Most of all, after 6months I was able see how much my leadership skills and confidence had grown. 

The Rising Leadership Program was incredibly transformational for me, and perfect timing while I transitioned into my first manager role. I’ve spoken openly with colleagues about my Rising Leadership experiences, and have found myself subconsciously implementing my learnings at work; and only later realising I have done so. Above all, I’ve connected with many extraordinary people, and have learnt that I don’t need to change to be a good leader – I can be myself, and that’s okay.

Rising provided me with the opportunity to reflect on my professional and personal journey, both past and future, and helped me better understand how I could be more effective and impactful through my actions. Not only that, Rising also provided me with an incredible network of people that I can now call on for guidance.

When I was accepted on the Rising Leadership Program in 2017, I thought it was the worst timing. So much was going on personally and professionally, and I just didn't think I had the time. It was in fact, the perfect timing. I realised how taking the time out for yourself and developing your leadership skills, both at work and home is really important. The Rising Program makes you more effective, allows for the space and opportunity for reflection. You can give so much more as a leader.  

The Rising Program certainly exceeded all my expectations of a typical leadership course. It challenged my values, the way I lead both in my professional and personal life and it provided me with access to learn from some of WA's most successful leaders. The Program also allowed me to represent the NFP organisation I work for and raise its profile and our cause but most of all, it introduced me to a cohort of colleagues that will most definitely be a part of my professional life long after we graduated.
