Date: 23 September 2020

On 23 September our Alumni participated in a fascinating discussion about restorative practices and justice. We were led through this topic by Dr David Moore, Communication Consultant, Primed Change Consulting; and Michael Wood, Anglican Chaplain, The University of Western Australia.

This deep dive explored how restorative practices can be used to tackle the underlying causes of harm so better outcomes can be reached after conflict. These practices have been implemented in a wide variety of institutions, from schools and workplaces, to detention centres and prisons.

We’d like to thank both Michael and David (who participated via Zoom from Melbourne) for giving us so much to think about and for provoking such great questions. Thank you also to The University of Western Australia for hosting us.
