Regional Aboriginal Leadership Development Scholarships

We’re thrilled to announce that through the Leadership WA Foundation, our Regional Aboriginal Leadership Development Scholarships have been awarded a grant of $233,000 to continue into 2021 and 2022.

These scholarships, of which Lotterywest is a major supporter, are aimed at creating positive outcomes for regional Aboriginal communities by supporting participants onto Leadership WA’s Rising and Signature Leadership Programs.

These scholarships will enable participants to develop stronger leadership skills and capabilities to reinvest back into their local communities.

Pictured here are 2020 scholarship recipients Stephen Morrison from Hope Community Services in Kalgoorlie, and Tangiora Hinaki from Ngaarda Media in Karratha. Stephen and Tangiora are Alumni of the 2020 Rising Leadership Program.
