Date: 25/11/2022

On Friday 25 November, the 2022 Signature Leadership Program cohort graduated at the prestigious Government House WA.

The evening commenced with a warm Welcome to Country by Kerry Stack.

His Excellency the Honourable Christopher John Dawson APM, the Governor of Western Australia and Patron of Leadership WA, acknowledged the value of the Program and spoke on the importance of strong leadership in our state.

Over the past 10 months, we have seen these 37 exceptional leaders embrace vulnerability and enduring bonds, and wholeheartedly explore their ‘why’ in leadership. This unmatched journey has provided an environment of trust in which the cohort’s range of experiences has empowered new perspectives and broadened their vantage points.

Chris Minchin, Director of Aged Care at Rise Network, was appointed as the 2022 Valedictorian. He spoke about the lifelong connections developed over the course of the Program, the regional field trips and the impact of the speakers, in particular the Members of our Alumni network.

Our warmest congratulations to the 2022 Signature cohort. Each and every one of you embodies Leadership WA’s mission, by developing your leadership for the benefit of your organisations, and our community. We will watch eagerly as you continue your leadership journeys and effect meaningful change.
