Scholarships
Thanks to the Leadership WA Foundation, a 3-year Lotterywest Grant and the generosity of our Scholarship Partners, we are delighted to offer a range of Scholarships for leaders who may otherwise be unable to participate in our Programs.
2027 Signature Leadership Program Scholarships
Signature Leadership Program | Signature Scholarship Flyer
- Leadership WA Foundation Ted Powell Scholarships | Includes the Organisation Fee; the Personal Fee being the Participant’s investment in the Program. For leaders working in for-purpose organisations (small to medium*), small businesses or sole traders.
- Lotterywest Community Leadership Scholarships (Metro & Regional) | Full Scholarships including both the Organisation and Personal Fee. Supported by Lotterywest, these Scholarships are for leaders working in for-purpose (NFP) organisations with charitable status, delivering services to the community. There are two Scholarships available – one for a metro candidate and one inclusive of travel and accommodation for a candidate living in regional WA.
Read more about the Lotterywest Scholarship Grant here. - CBH Growing Leaders Scholarships (Regional applicants working within the grain growing industry) | CBH generously supports two full Scholarships, inclusive of the Organisation and Personal Fee. The CBH Growing Leaders Scholarship Program supports two members of the WA grain growing industry to undertake the Signature Leadership Program each year. The Scholarship aims to build a pool of growers ready to take on leadership positions in the grain industry, within Grower Groups, or at CBH, with a focus on building capacity. Please note that travel and accommodation costs are not included in the scholarship and form part of the successful Participants’ investment in the Program.
- LeadAbility Scholarship | Includes the Organisation Fee; the Personal Fee being the Participant’s investment in the Program. This Scholarship is funded by the Department of Communities WA and is open to leaders who are living with or have lived experience of a disability. Leaders who advocate for people with a disability and/or who work within the sector, including in diversity and inclusion positions, are also eligible to apply.

- Lotterywest Community Leadership Scholarships (Metro & Regional) | Full Scholarships including both the Organisation and Personal Fee. Support for travel is also available for regional recipients. Supported by Lotterywest, these Scholarships are for leaders working in for-purpose organisations (small to medium) in both metropolitan and regional WA. - Mt Burdett Foundation Scholarships (Regional) | Full Scholarships including both the Organisation and Personal Fee (travel and accommodation are excluded, and form part of the Participant’s personal investment in the Program).
The Mt Burdett Rural and Regional Advancement Foundation are proud to support regional WA leaders, including early and mid-career leaders living in regional Western Australia. To be eligible, participants must live and work in regional Western Australia, contribute to and be passionate about using their leadership to meaningfully impact their community. - Construction Training Fund (CTF) Construction Sector Leaders Scholarships | Full Scholarships including both the Organisation and Personal Fee. Supported by the Construction Training Fund, these Scholarships are aimed at leaders actively working in the WA construction sector. The Construction Training Fund supports WA’s building and construction industry to meet its demand for skilled workers, while supporting the development of a modern and progressive building and construction industry. - You can select a Scholarship as part of your online application.
- The Scholarships are listed on the first page of the application.
- Once selected, additional questions in relation to the Scholarship will be included in the form.
- Please note:
- Travel support is only included where stated, otherwise it is part of the Participant’s personal investment.
- For the purposes of our Scholarships, small to medium for-purpose (NFP) organisations are those with an annual income of $20 million or less.
- For the purpose of the Lotterywest Community Leadership Scholarships, organisations must be community-based NFPs with charitable status.

- Employees of State or Federal Government Departments or Agencies are ineligible to apply for Scholarships. Many Departments run an internal selection process to choose the leaders they will support in applying for Leadership WA Programs. We recommend you check with your Organisational Development team.
